Tech, gaming and streaming news in my own words, with my take. By Travis, a Texas husband and father who streams PUBG on Kick.
With less than two weeks to go, Rockstar dropped a fresh batch of Grand Theft Auto 6 stills teasing more Leonida locations, characters, and chase chaos. It piles onto the recent trailers and gameplay drops as the countdown hits full volume.
Travis's take: Forty more screenshots and my hard drive is already clearing space like it's Thanksgiving. Nov 19 can't get here fast enough for the Lunch Bag Crew.
In a Nov Dev Letter, PUBG says the August LMG Meta Rotation overshot the mark, so Update 44.1 rolls M249 and MG3 back toward pre-August balance and tunes the RPD to match. A fresh Meta Rotation approach is planned for 2027 after they rethink duration and intensity.
Travis's take: The LMG era got the early whistle. Time to dust off the old loadouts and pretend we never loved the RPD that much. See y'all in the lobby at 7.
Players are discovering the Switch 2 remake will recognize learned melodies through the console microphone, whether you hum, belt them out, or play a real ocarina. Button inputs still work, but the mic mode is already spawning gloriously silly clips.
Travis's take: I can summon Epona by yelling into a tablet. That's not a feature, that's a parenting stress test. Brett is already rehearsing Song of Storms in the hallway.
Kick director Ethan Wright posted October's haul: a new Events dashboard for big shows, OG badges for early supporters, a seven-day streaming calendar, Go Live app polish, almost 5,000 new game categories, and Kick on LG TVs. Discoverability tools are the headline for creators hunting bigger rooms.
Travis's take: Events hub, calendar, LG TVs — Kick keeps stacking the toolbox while we stack chicken dinners at 7pm. Lunch Bag Crew, we're right where we need to be.
Travis's take: Original lunch-bag art. No hard drives were filled in the making of this meme. Allegedly.
